MS-Q Quadrus Handled Imager
The MS-Q Quadrus is the most aggressive handled imager
available for decoding symbols on low contrast substrates such as metal,
plastic, rubber, and glass. It is optimized to read both linear and 2D
symbols that use direct part mark (DPM) methods such as dot peen and
laser/chemical etch. With custom optics
and advanced decode algorithms, the MS-Q Quadrus provides the decoding power

MS-Q Handled Imager with LightRay Optics
Give your MS-Q handled imager the performance of a fixed
reader with Microscan's Patented LightRay Optics.
Many of these codes are not readable with standard lighting.
Now, using Microscan patented LightRay Optics, even low contrast Data Matrix
code and codes marked on textured surfaces are easy to read. All the user
needs to do is position the reader and squeeze the trigger. Furthermore, the
LightRay Optics are field detachable and no training is required.
The LightRay Optics makes it easy to read direct part marks (DPM)
created with these marking methods on the most challenging substrates and
part geometries:
Marking Methods: chemical etch, ink jet, laser etch, dot peen
etc.
