FS-80 IP "Dud" Detection System

 

 
 

 

Proximity "dud" detection on bottle and cans with steel or ferrous caps or lids

 

  • Reduces the chance of flat or spoiled product reaching consumers by reliable detecting containers that are improperly sealed, which leads to reduced trade complaints and product liability

  • Improves final product quality on lines filling containers under vacuum or pressure, including nitrogen dosed cans

  • Detects low vacuum or pressure at speeds of up to 1300 bottles or 2000 cans per minute

  • Is available as a free-standing system or interfaced with a Filtec Fill Level Inspection system

The FT-70 X-Ray System uses wide image scanning to eliminate false rejects caused by conveyor movement or product sloshing, and eliminates gamma source issues

IN-LABELER Missing Label Detection System

 

 
 

 

The In-Labeler Missing Label Detection System utilizes sensors mounted in the Labeler where the labels are precisely located for accurate inspection.

 

  • If a label is missing, this information is relayed downstream to the FIltec Rejection System where the faulty bottle is removed from the production line.

  • Improves final product quality on lines filling containers under vacuum or pressure, including nitrogen dosed cans

  • Multi-bottle memory allows the user to change over for different bottle and label combinations with a few keystrokes

  • Consecutive reject alarms provide immediate shutdown capability when too many rejects are detected

  • Integrates with other Filtec inspection systems to maximize the number of inspection functions that can be performed at the Labeler discharge

 

Standard features include:

 
  • automatic "learn mode" to teach the system all the timing and tracking parameters

  • automatic self diagnostics to alert the operator when any system components fail
